Energiekontor’s Rotor Blade Extension – HUSUM Wind Congress 2017

Energiekontor’s Rotor Blade Extension has been at multiple international Wind Power Events, conferences and fairs. Last year RBE was present in the Wind Energy Hamburg 2016 and this year was for the second time at Husum Wind 2017, in Husum, Germany, between the 12^th and 15^th September.

This German Wind Trade Fair and Congress, took place in the congress center (HUSUM Wind Forum). The exhibition space included some seminar rooms and a Offshore and Innovation Forum in Hall 2.

Energiekontor’s Rotor Blade Extension was represented by Eng. Raquel Salavessa, legal representative of Energiekontor wind farms in Portugal and managing director of Rotor Blade Extension Development department, Eng. Andreia Centeio, Project Manager at RBE and Eng. David Coimbra who is also Project Manager at RBE.

To capture the attention of investors RBE team had a booth located in the Offshore and Innovation Forum in Hall 2. Our team had the opportunity to make known the RBE project, the advantages of the product and the results of the installations already carried out.

HUSUM Wind is well known as the traditional industry meeting place that guarantees an intensive discussion of current topics related to renewable energy. The event offered an ambitious programme with press conferences, forums, workshops, excursions, panel discussions and seminars. New technology, maintenance concepts and repowering, new tendering models and process, new challenges facing the industry, and direct marketing were just some of the topics covered during this congress.

This event was organized by the Messe Husum & Congress GmbH & Co. KG and had a very wide space for the exhibitions. Had 5 halls in a space of 27,500 sqm gross and a congress center.

For the last 25 years HUSUM Wind has been the leading biennial trade fair for the wind industry. The exhibitors represented the whole supply chain for the onshore and offshore wind sector. About 650 exhibitors from many nations presented their products and services.

The sectors covered in the exhibition are: wind turbine manufacturers, component suppliers, turbine operators, project planners and developers, grid operators and grid engineering suppliers, offshore specialists, and others.
