Energiekontor’s Rotor Blade Extension has been at multiple international Wind Power Events, conferences and fairs, including EWEA 2014 Barcelona, WindEnergy Hamburg, Wind Operator Congress Europe and the 7th Annual Wind Energy Operations & Maintenance Forum Europe.
In 2017 Energiekontor’s Rotor Blade Extension was present at the HUSUM Wind Congress 2017, one of the biggest wind trade fair organized in Germany.
To capture the attention of investors, RBE team had a booth located in the Offshore and Innovation Forum in Hall 2. Our team had the opportunity to make known the RBE project, the advantages of the product and the results of the installations already carried out.
Our engineers also had the opportunity to establish some contacts with suppliers, operators and to know new innovations and products in the area.
RBE will be present at many other events in the future, because our team considers that these events are a great opportunity to meet interesting people, partners and potential clients.
In 2016 Energiekontor’s Rotor Blade Extension was present, once again at the Wind Energy Hamburg. This time the team was located in Hall A1, booth 540, and was represented by Raquel Salavessa – Managing Director of Rotor Blade Extension Department.
When asked about Wind Energy Hamburg, Raquel Salavessa, Managing Director of the Rotor Blade Extension Department and Energiekontor’s representative, said: “The international fair in Hamburg had an extraordinary participation of businesses and visitors, either in number or in quality of representation. All areas of the wind energy business were present. We can thus meet and reconcile, in the same space, a plethora of opportunities. Moreover, the level of innovation was excellent and many R&D companies with great potential participated in it.”
At the 7th Annual Wind Energy Operations & Maintenance Forum Europe, Raquel Salavessa, Energiekontor’s Project Manager, was one of the speakers of the Discussion Panel: “The Impact of Asset Optimisation on the O&M of a Wind Farm”. This event occurred in Hamburg on 20 and 21 January (2015) and was organized by the Wind Energy Update which is part of FC Business Intelligence Limited.
At HUSUM Wind Congress 2015, RBE was present at Booth 2D15. Husum fair was a success for Energiekontor, and especially for RBE – Rotor Blade Extension. Considering the positive results obtained with RBE, namely the expected increase of AEP, we were approached by several potential clients, from all over the world. We had also the opportunity to meet with potential suppliers and profitable collaborations can be achieved.
At Wind Operator Congress Europe which took place in 2015, went really well for the RBE team. Important contacts were established and very interesting discussions regarding several aspects of the Rotor Blade Extension and its benefits were held between the team and relevant stakeholders, which has sparked a great deal of interest in the project.
David Coimbra, Rotor Blade Extension’s Project Manager was one of the senior expert speakers at the Wind Operator Congress Europe. During his presentation, David explained how to increase annual wind energy output.
In 2015 RBE team was once again at EWEA, this time in Paris. The purpose of attending to the EWEA Paris 2015, was to maintain and create new contacts, not only of new potential clients, but also of certification companies, as well as promote the main advantage of RBE installation: the improvement of wind farm’s productivity.
EWEA is the leading European wind energy annual event. In 2014, the event was organized in Barcelona where over 80 countries and 145 companies were represented, including Energiekontor and the Rotor Blade Extension project. At EWEA Barcelona 2014, the RBE project was presented in a poster so the public had the opportunity to understand the advantages of installing the Energiekontor RBE.
At WindEnergy Hamburg, in September 2014, RBE was presented at the Energiekontor’s stand, as you can see in the photo gallery below:
